Due to the current situation with the coronavirus, Illinois Electric is implementing precautionary measures

to assure we can continue to provide essential services to our membership. We will be following recommendations from the CDC and the Governor’s office, as well as making some operational changes. We will keep you informed through our web site and social media about any changes that might impact you. Be assured that we will continue to provide the electric and internet services that you depend on. Your health and safety, as well as that of our employees, is of the upmost importance to us.

With the unprecedented number of cancellations, we understand that many of you will be limiting your social interactions. We can take care of almost any request with just a phone call. We also offer several ways to pay, including by phone, web site, and mobile app. Please feel free to call us with any of your needs or concerns.

Update 3/17/2020:

Due to the COVID-19 virus, we feel it prudent to implement our emergency action plan. That will involve, in part, closing our lobby beginning at noon today, Tuesday, March 17th. It will remain closed until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to protect you and our employees, and assure that we can continue to provide you with essential services.

We will be available by phone to assist you with any of your needs. We have several easy payment options, including by phone, online, through our mobile app, and a secure payment dropbox for at our office. You can also contact us through our web site, and the mobile app.

We will also implement some operational changes with our field employees, one of which is social distancing. We will provide updates on social media, and our web site, as this situation evolves. We ask for your patience as we all work through this trying situation.
